Gillyd Goldfinder, Female Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'2" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has done her best to style her silver hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Gillyd is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Born in the south to a Fortune-teller, Gillyd learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She struck the Fortune-teller job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: Expand her business; and an old rival family wants her found
Ideals: Disciplined, Justice. Bonds: Job, Family. Occupation: Fortune-teller
Voice: High pitched and raspy
