History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Hlin never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Tim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Tim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tim and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Edge was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sculptor. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
