History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hecat was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age her mother died while driving off some gnolls. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sword use. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Jo was born the youngest of three triplets. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
