History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Tree and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Veloptima learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has worked as a Sage like her father before her.
