Personality: She is happy with her job as a Scribe. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emerald grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has worked as a Scribe like her mother before her.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Hugolina took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
