History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A 4'10" northern man, he dresses in violet turtlenecks beneath a black coat with grey slacks. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed violet hat.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and doesn't want to be a architect and was forced into it by his family

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Umpen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Description: She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 2'10" when asserting herself. Her silver hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and expand her business
