When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears pastel leather gloves, a pastel jacket, and tight pants. Her fur is short and cinnamon. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Puyet was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She is lean but muscular and is wearing a long, grey cloak. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
