Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She became a Slave Trader soon after.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Emma was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and doesn't want to be a mortician and was forced into it by her family

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a brown vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her brown boots flare out at the collars. Her red fur is knotted and matted. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Emerald is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Emerald reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
