Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Adam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: This woman wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Verna was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
