She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She became a Barber soon after.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Katherine was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At some point she was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
