History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Salanop grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Salanop. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

She picked a direction and started trekking.
