Personality: Mugrunden wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pyntle embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Pyntle hails from a village terrorized by illithids. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

History: Gifted from a young age, Zephan studied abroad. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
