History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
