History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again.
