History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Efferil took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Beatrice embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Beatrice hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion
