History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
