History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Direcris was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Direcris's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sammal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
