Personality: He is fixated on the number 47. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the south to a Sellsword, Howard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a simple tan robe with blue stripes complete with hood. Her hair is long and blonde with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small tan clips. Her violet eyes peer out from beneath her top tan hat.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and balancing her hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She usually wears her tan robe and has her dagger always slung over her shoulder. Her long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
