History: Joan was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Banker. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Kansif will drive conversation. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Kansif lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and she wants revenge against orcs
