History: She was born into a rich family. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Eida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Through the years after Aline was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aline's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
