History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
