Description: He wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly halberds and maces. He has moderate length white hair. He is baby faced.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Anselm was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anselm decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Anselm never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her hair is white and curly. Her amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: Mara was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Tailor. She has never given up on her painting dream.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and many giants want her driven away

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has done his best to style his black crest to look like a famous performer. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tarhun grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tarhun. After months of barely getting by, Tarhun managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
