Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. His hair is auburn and very short. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Scribe. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Ulblyn hails from a village terrorized by drow. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Ulblyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a worn and beaten armor. Her hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small brown clips. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 100. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and to reunite with her absent mother
