History: Born in the east to a Painter, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
