History: Maynild was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Maynild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Maynild was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
