History: She was born in a small plains village. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: Bolhild is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Bolhild was taken on many hunting expeditions. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
