History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Gnome Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants revenge against illithids

She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born in the east to a Sellsword, Akta learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. After months of barely getting by, Akta managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
