History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: She was born in a small island village. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Agnes's homeland. Agnes decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
