Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His cinnamon fur is smooth and relatively long. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jade does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jade was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and to be a herbalist again

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Painter mother left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Megren and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she feels threatened by others

Description: She wears light armors faded through time and improper care. She carries with her a set of scythes, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She has dyed her greying blue crest a little too much giving a sharp blue color. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Marshal. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Gilkass was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business
