Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Gilthur is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. One day when Gilthur was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Gilthur was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

History: Trym was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's looking for his big break

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Lidda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
