Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by her family

History: Born to a Engraver, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When Virra reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
