History: Born in the south to a Jeweler, Cecily learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Portia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now owns her own business.
