Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shamash grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shamash. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born to a Detective, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Actor for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Drenna reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor
