History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Volen was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has never given up on her dancing dream.
