History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Puyet liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Butcher born in the past three hundred years. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gifted student she started as a Ruler, but she got bored and became a Butcher. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ruler. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To be a Ruler again; and she would like to get married and retire

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears bulky blue painted plate armor. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Arannis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Her tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her grey boots flare out at the collars. Her black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She is baby faced.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she wants revenge against goblins
