Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Alain and her spouse have recently divorced.

His hair is long and auburn with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Warryn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Warryn. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born in the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
