Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Buvvie and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
