History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Valanthe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
