History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She became a Cartwright soon after.
