History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He bought a pickaxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions
