History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Abalaba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Abalaba has worked very hard to control her curse. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: This tall, slender woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Description: He usually wears his black robe and has his club always slung over his shoulder. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pûgrish is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
