History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
