History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently the stress of being a Merchant has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
