History: Gilkass lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now mingles about in high society.
