He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Paela liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
