History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
