History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tod grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
