History: He got into the Junk Dealer business at a young age. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Gardain's homeland. Gardain decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now owns his own business.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ethereal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
