Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. Helgret is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Helgret lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was a Scribe, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Ploughman, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Sarah was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
