History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Paymon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: Cairn is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Cairn is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He now owns his own business.
